FLAMENCO

Flamenco, inspired by the beauty of a flamingo the sense of peace, light and calm from their soft, bright, delicate feathers and the balance. A project to create textures and surfaces by manipulating the fabrics with other materials using techniques like stitching, smocking, fraying, embroidery, and layering. A study on the bird was done to know more about the structure, form, movements that will help in representing the bird accurately. A number of explorations were done through different mediums.
